Rather than cutting the lead from 7 to 4, Minnesota’s field goal was blocked by Nebraska stud DE Randy Gregory and returned the other way 85 yards for the touchdown. Nate Gerry picked up the bouncing ball after Corey Cooper failed to do so and Gerry had a really nice run back to get the score.
