MSU Is Catching Heat After Allowing Player To Return To Game After Concussion

Alante Brown, a starting DB for Michigan State, suffered a ‘mild’ concussion during MSU’s win over Central Michigan in week 1. Brown, who briefly left the game, passed the ‘initial’ screening from the team doctors and was let right back in. You can see the hit below:

The team doctors, upon seeing the video of the hit, took Brown out for the second half.

The Spartans training staff shared that they will use video to assist them moving forward.
