Recruiting Expert Pegs Rashan Gary To Michigan

Following a weekend long visit to Ann Arbor, Rashan Gary, the No. 1 recruit in the country, has seen several Crystal Ball predictions go in Michigan’s favor.  Not only did 247sports’ CEO put in a prediction for Michigan, but so did Steve Lorenz, Michigan’s insider for the site.

Lorenz notes in the article ($) that after talking with four difference sources he felt comfortable enough to predict that Gary would eventually commit to the Wolverines.

Here’s a quote that Todderick Hunt of NJ.com got from Jennifer Coney, Gary’s mom:

“When we got back to Detroit, there were so many people from Michigan, because they all wear the Michigan gear. But when we got on the plane, it was all Michigan, again. Everybody,” said Coney to NJ.com. “I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ And then when we landed in Newark, it was like I was in Detroit. That’s how many people from Michigan live here, so many alumni. And that one made me think twice.”
