O’Maury Samuels Is Nation’s SPARQ Rating Leader

O’Maury Samuels, who pledged to Michigan on Sunday evening, is arguably the most athletic prospect in the 2017 class. At the Opening regional in Dallas back in March, Samuels posted a nation-leading Nike SPARQ rating of 138.30.

Here were Samuel’s numbers: 44.5 inch vertical, 4.58 electric 40-yard dash, 4.14 shuttle and a 43 foot powerball. Samuels claims that he can run 4.3 40-yard-dash.

The Michigan staff has compared the 5-foot-10, 190-pound New Mexico native to a young Adrian Peterson.
