Michigan State getting new Helmets for the Michigan Game?

There’s a new photo circulating on the web, and it’s highly possible that Michigan State could be getting new Nike pro combat uniforms for the Michigan/Michigan State game again.

Nothing has been confirmed and Michigan State Athletic Director Mark Hollis has said this according to Mlive, “I saw the ones in Ann Arbor that they taped,” Hollis mused, referring to the scout team Spartans helmets Michigan used in practice this week. “I’m not going to comment on any helmets.”

I’m not sure if State will break out with any new uniforms, and there have been plenty of fake uniforms that have circulated around the web leading up to big games.  These are definitely some of the sharper helmets that I’ve seen, and I guess we’ll know in about 24 hours whether they’re fake or not.  Hollis’ cryptic comments seem to imply they could be very real.
