Michigan Beats Out Alabama, Tennessee For Top SEC Territory Recruit

Ranked as a three/four-star and the No. 19 TE in the 2024 class to 247sports, Eli Owens, a Alcoa, Tennessee product, announced his commitment to Michigan ahead of the National Championship Game:

Michigan beat out Alabama, Tennessee and others for Owens’ service. Owens is ranked as the No. 355 recruit and is a four-star to 247sports.

Owens joins four-stars QB Carter Smith, DL Bobby Kanka and DB Chris Ewald in Michigan’s 2025 class.
