Johnny Manziel makes his Music Video debut

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel’s offseason gets better with each passing day.  On Friday, a music video was released by country artist Granger Smith for his song “Silverado Bench Seat.”  Manziel appears in the music video along with his former A&M teammate Ryan Swope.  The video shows Manziel driving a silver truck, tossing a football with a very attractive girl and signing autographs for fans.  These are all things that probably took a lot of takes for Manziel to get right and he probably even hired an acting coach for it.

Smith had written a song called “We Bleed Maroon,” which became the Aggies official anthem for the season and resulted in Manziel and Smith meeting one another.

Smith said he and Manziel exchanged cell numbers and began talking occasionally. When it came time to shoot the video for the song, which is from Smith’s album “Dirt Road Driveway,” he asked Swope and Manziel if they’d like to be involved. It was filmed in College Station in early April.
