Bret Bielema tells strangers that he is a history professor

Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema said on the ESPN show Highly Questionable that he tells strangers that he is a college history professor.  He said that when he met his wife in Las Vegas, that she didn’t know he was a football coach for months and thought that he was a history professor at Wisconsin.  She ended up finding out the truth because she saw him in a college football commercial, and surprisingly wasn’t angry with him for lying.  It’s understandable that Bielema would tell this lie to strangers, especially ones that are fans of his school, in order to keep a lower profile and avoid being given unsolicited advice about how to coach.
