Arguably Northwestern’s Top Defensive Player Enters Transfer Portal

Northwestern lost its third player to the transfer portal as starting CB Jeremiah Lewis has entered his name:

As On3 notes, Lewis, a Texas native, signed with Duke in 2018 and spent four seasons with the Blue Devils before transferring to the Wildcats. He made 10 starts his final two seasons at Duke, including eight in 2020.

With Pat Fitzgerald’s firing over hazing at NU, Lewis will be eligible immediately.

It’s unclear which schools have shown interest in Lewis yet, but he certainly will have many suiters.
