Aaron Hernandez All-American brick removed by Florida Gators

While Aaron Hernandez may be innocent until proven guilty, the Florida Gators are wasting no time trying to separate themselves from him.  The process to remove the brick was quick and painless and there is no longer any sign that Hernandez’s brick was even there before.

Hernandez received the All-American honor in 2009 when he had 68 catches, 850 yards and 5 touchdowns and also won the John Mackey Award for being the nation’s best tight end.  The Gators have removed photos of Hernandez from their facilities and released a statement on about removing the brick.

I can’t blame the Gators for wanting to get as far away from this as possible.
