Jabari Parker’s alley-oop was identical to Grant Hill’s in 1991 Title game vs. Kansas

Duke came up just short of victory over Kansas during Tuesday night’s Championship Classic, and it certainly wasn’t due to the play of freshman Jabari Parker. Parker, who was playing in his hometown Chicago, finished with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting. It was a play at the start of the second half that caught everyone’s attention.

Parker caught a Quinn Cook oop in the second half (GIF below) that looked all too similar to the one by Grant Hill in the 1991 National Championship game also against Kansas.
