Doug McDermott Ends College Career 5th All-Time in Points

Doug McDermott certainly had both a college career and year to remember. Though his Creighton Blue Jays lost in the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday night to Baylor, McDermott capped off an incredible career with 3150 points, putting him at 5th on the NCAA’s all-time points list behind only Pistol Pete Maravich, Freeman Williams, Lionel Simmons, and Alphonso Ford. He was only 15 points behind Ford and likely would’ve caught him had Creighton made it to the Sweet 16.

Farewell Dougie, we’ll miss you dearly. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you in the NBA.
