Kent State Player Returns Fumble The Wrong Way on Punt (Video)

There was a highlight during Thursday night’s opening college football game between Kent State and Towson, and it wasn’t a good one.

Kent State was punting to Towson on the play, the ball was touched by the returner, making it live. Kenn State’s Andre Parker grabbed the ball at the 7-yard and started going the wrong way.

Although the ball was ruled down on the 7-yard line, this play still has to be in the running for the dumbest play of the year.

But that wasn’t even the end of it.

What’s even funnier is that Parker’s move may not have even been the highlight of the play; a Towson player inexplicably tackled him as he ran down the field going the wrong way. Let the guy score a touchdown for your team, buddy!
