Joey Chestnut Proposed To Girlfriend Before Winning 8th Straight Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest


Joey Chestnut was crowned the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest winner Friday afternoon after finishing with 61 completed hot dogs. Chestnut not only was the champion of the contest for the 8th consecutive year, but before the competition, the 30-year-old proposed to his girlfriend. Not a bad double-win-day for Chestnut. But thankfully, he proposed BEFORE the event and not AFTER. Wise move.
