Bears CB Charles Tillman calls Calvin Johnson: “The LeBron James of Football”

Not many people have been able to stop Calvin Johnson this year.  He’s already passed Jerry Rice’s single-season receiving yardage record and is only 108 yards from becoming the first receiver to reach the 2,000 yard plateau.

Chicago Bears CB Charles Tillman told Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune this: “He can do everything, he’s the LeBron James of football. If you could create a player — that’s Calvin Johnson. Size, speed, hands, agility, quickness, strength.”  Very high praise coming from an inner-division opponent.

The last time the Bears played the Lions, Tillman and his fellow Pro-Bowler, Tim Jennings, held Megatron to 3 catches for 34 yards.  They will look to repeat that performance this week.
