Guy Runs Onto Pitch During USA-Belgium Match, Has Message On Shirt

A man, Mario Ferri, briefly interrupted Tuesday’s USA-Belgium match in the 16th minute, running onto the field while wearing a superman t-shirt that read, “#Save Favelas Children” and “#Ciro Vive”. The meaning of the shirt, according to the the Associated Press, is that, “#CiroVive hashtag has been used by people in support of Ciro Esposito, a Napoli fan who was shot in May during fan violence before the Italian Cup final. He died last week.”  Ferri, who was sent off the pitch by security, also invaded the field during the Spain-Germany match at the last World Cup.
