Christiano Ronaldo’s Hat Trick against Sweden lifts Portugal into 2014 World Cup

On the back of Christiano Ronaldo, Portugal advanced to next summer’s World Cup after its 3-2 defeat over Sweden in a WC qualifier on Tuesday. Sweden went up early but then arguably the Greatest Soccer Player in the World took to scoring the next three goals for Portugal. Zlatan Ibrahimoivic netted the two goals for Sweden including this blast on a free-kick but in the end could only applaud at Ronaldo’s performance.
