Chile’s Mauricio Pinilla Gets Tattoo Of Shot That Hit Crossbar vs. Brazil

Chile striker, Mauricio Pinilla, nearly became the hero after coming in as a sub with the score tied at 1-1 tie during Saturday’s World Cup match against Brazil. Pinilla had a chance to knock out the host nation in the final minutes of extra time, but his strike went off the crossbar–and the two teams headed to shootouts (which, of course, Brazil won thanks to the post again).

Instead of trying to forget the unfortunate moment, Pinilla went the opposite direction and got a tattoo on his back of his strike. Pinilla certainly will never forget this crossbar now:
