2012 U.S. Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms

Ralph Lauren unveiled their 2012 Olympic opening ceremony uniforms on Tuesday.  Once again the outfits include berets (no brims this year) for both the men and women. The London uniform is similar to the 2008, but with a few small changes, including a blue, rather than white beret, and double-breasted jackets for the men. No doubt, it will also cost more. The beret alone goes for $55. The women’s blazer is $498 and the men’s is $795.  It’s a lot to spend to look like a sailor.

The men’s uniform also includes a club-collar cotton sport shirt with a red and navy necktie, and the double-breasted blazer with peak lapels.

The women’s outfit includes the navy blue blazer with red, white and blue scarves, along with a knee-length cream-colored skirt.
