Zdeno Chara’s slapshot breaks Henrik Lundqvist’s mask

Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara is known for having the hardest slapshot in the entire NHL, but that didn’t stop New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist from stopping the shot with his head.  Lundqvist knows the Rangers are in a must-win game four and has shown that he is willing to do whatever it takes, even if it means finishing the game with a different mask than the one he started with.  Lundqvist took the shot right in the middle of his face and one of the two bars in the middle of his mask came loose.  Rangers fans should be happy that he doesn’t duck like Ilya Bryzgalov.
