Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane tweets picture holding bricks of cash

Tweeting a picture of yourself from what looks to be a penthouse at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas holding bricks of cash, seems like a great way to get the NHL owners to back down from their demands that the players make less money.

Maybe this is the money that he had won from gambling that night, but it’s not as though this picture will even get fans to be sympathetic with your cause.  With the NHL season on the brink of being cancelled, perhaps it would be better if players kept a lower profile if they aren’t going to help negotiate a new CBA.
