Viktor Fasth unveils “Bane Duck” Goalie Mask Design

Anaheim Ducks backup goalie Viktor Fasth has been one of the surprising stories this NHL season.  The 30-year-old has posted a 10-1-1 record with a 1.92 goals against average, a .929 save percentage and two shutouts.  His stellar play earned him a two-year, $5.8 million contract extension and now he’s rocking this mask.  No word yet on when it will be officially unveiled, but I love it.  Unique goalie masks are always great and this one combining his team’s mascot with a Batman villain is phenomenal.  Though I’m not sure it can unseat the Superman Peter Griffin mask worn by Petr Mrazek as the best goalie mask ever.
