Semyon Varlamov makes ridiculous last-second stick save

Even though the Colorado Avalanche had already been eliminated from Playoff contention, that didn’t stop goalie Semyon Varlamov from playing his heart out.  Minnesota Wild forward Matt Cullen got his own rebound and fired a second shot past Varlamov and it was trickling toward the net when Varlamov made this miraculous save.  The puck was nearly over the goal line when he swiped it away.  Unfortunately for Varlamov, the Avalanche still went on to lose 3-1 and will be hitting the golf course early this year.
