Red Wings’ Niklas Kronwall Scores Goal After Shot Goes Off Boards And Goalie’s Leg

Joe Louis Arena has always been known for its lively boards. The Red Wings have used them as a way to make indirect passes for years. On Friday night, Niklas Kronwall simply missed the net with a shot and it turned out for the better. The shot banked off the back wall, and off Cory Schneider’s leg into the net. Not the prettiest way to score a goal, but it certainly was unique.
