Penguins’ Pascal Dupuis Stretchered Off After Being Struck By The Puck

Pascal Dupuis

This was a pretty scary moment in the Pittsburgh Penguins-Dallas Stars game at the CONSOL Energy Center. Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis was cross-checked down in front of the net, seconds before Kris Letang let a shot go. Letang’s shot struck Dupuis in the back of the neck and he knew he was in trouble immediately. He tried to get up but then started calling for help and Evgeni Malkin helped him lay down.

Dupuis was stretchered off the ice and seemed to be alert as he left. It was reassuring to see that and to see how quickly trainers and doctors got onto the ice.
