Papa John’s Twitter account doesn’t know who’s playing in Stanley Cup Final

The Papa John’s Pizza Twitter account was trying to get in on the hockey action prior to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night and get their fans involved with them but they made a grave mistake.  Whoever was running the Twitter account had no clue who was actually playing in the Stanley Cup Final.  The Pittsburgh Penguins were swept by the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference Final, they should have said Chicago Blackhawks.  The tweet stayed up for over five hours until they finally deleted the tweet and sent out this one.

Perhaps if ESPN had a little less Tim Tebow coverage, Papa John’s would be a little more informed.  Just a thought.
