Matt Martin knocks out Tom Kostopoulos in fight

Midway through the first period on Monday night during the New York Islanders-New Jersey Devils game, Devils forward Tom Kostopoulos took exception to a hit Islanders forward Matt Martin delivered on Stephen Gionta.  Unfortunately Kostopoulos (6’0″ 205 lbs) bit off more than he could chew and was knocked out by Martin (6’3″ 210 lbs) after taking a devastating blow to the chin.  At least Martin was smart enough to not keep throwing punches after Kostopoulos went down and even called over for a trainer.  I’m guessing Kostopoulos won’t be in the lineup for a while after this.
