Martin Brodeur nearly kicks puck into empty net after retrieving his stick

New Jersey Devils legend Martin Brodeur showed off why it takes a little bit of luck to be as good as he is.  After picking up his stick, he lazily bent down to catch the puck that had been thrown at the net, but after it went off the post, he lost sight of it and nearly kicked it in.  Then he completed the graceful play by spinning around and falling down.  I’ve watched this GIF over and over again and I still have no idea how this puck didn’t cross the line.
