Life-Size Replica of Stanley Cup made of meat

The Stanley Cup visited the Chicago talk show “Windy City Live” and in celebration of that, the guys at the Chicago-based grilling organization ManBQue, built a life-size replica of the Stanley Cup that was made all of meat.

The Stanley Cup had the bottom made by ground beef, with the top made of bacon and the two pieces were held together by hot dogs.

According to Business Insider:

ManBQue president Jesse Valenciana told us the trophy took about seven hours to build and weighed around 35 pounds. Though it was made entirely of food, he said by the time they were done parading it around, “it was inedible.”

Definitely a creative idea, but it seems like a major waste of food.
