Jeff Carter scores hattrick on Kings’ hat giveaway night

Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter scored a hattrick on the best possible night ever.  Monday night was hat giveaway night for the Los Angeles Kings and the first 10,000 fans through the door were given hats.  As soon as Carter notched his third goal on a breakaway in the third period, the hats began immediately flowing over the glass.  It was several minutes before the hats were cleaned up.  I guess the Kings are going to have to do another hat giveaway since so many of them were returned.
