Flyers rookie Tye McGinn posts picture of face with broken orbital bone

Yikes.  This photo was found on Gongshow Hockey Gear’s Facebook Page and presumably came from Tye McGinn himself.  The Philadelphia Flyers rookie fought Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mike Brown on February 25th and clearly got the worst of it.  McGinn knocked Brown early during the fight, but once Brown got back up, it was all over for McGinn.  His jersey was ripped and his face cut and he was taken to the lockerroom.  Evidently, things were worse than just a cut above the eye, and McGinn will miss about the next four weeks with a broken orbital bone that requires surgery.  Amazingly enough, McGinn returned to the game and finished playing against the Maple Leafs.  Mike Brown meanwhile was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on Monday for a conditional 4th round pick.  Better to get traded than have you face broken though.
