Florida Panthers announcers finally lose their minds over brutal team

The Florida Panthers Fox Sports Florida announcers Steve Goldstein and Bill Lindsay appear to have finally lost their minds because of their brutal team.  On Thursday night the Panthers were losing to the Winnipeg Jets 7-2 and the Panthers inched closer to playoff elimination, all while the Jets fans started to do the wave.  Goldstein and Lindsay chose to mail it in for the last eight minutes and spent the last half of the third period discussing “Winnipeg Fun Facts.”  These fun facts consisted of Slurpees, the origin story of Winnie the Pooh, and how much sun Winnipeg gets in the Winter, I’m not kidding.  Perhaps the best exchange in the video was this:

“Will you buy me a Slurpee after the game?”

“I will buy you a Slurpee. They got better Slurpees. They know their ice here in Canada.”

Just further proof that being forced to watch a dreadful team can drive you towards insanity.
