Curtis Glencross sends Loui Eriksson over boards with hit

Dallas Stars forward Loui Eriksson did a good job of taking a hit to make a play.  Calgary Flames forward Curtis Glencross hit him nearly into the bench area as he took the puck into the zone.  If Flames defenseman Jay Bouwmeester hadn’t been there to keep Eriksson out of the bench, he would have gone head-over-heels into it.  The play Eriksson made getting the puck to Jamie Benn actually set up Ray Whitney with a great scoring chance even though they didn’t convert.  Sometimes you have to sacrifice the body and potentially your pride to help the team.
