Curtis Glencross scores hat trick on Western Night; Ice showered with Cowboy Hats

After Jeff Carter scored a well-timed hattrick during the Los Angeles Kings free hat night, Calgary Flames forward Curtis Glencross became the newest player to have a perfectly timed hattrick.  During the Calgary Falmes game against the Nashville Predators they had a “Western Night,” that encouraged fans to dress up like cowboys.  The Flames had a 3-1 lead going into the third period and that’s when Glencross unleashed his magic.  He netted three goals in the third period en route to the Flames 6-3 win, and the hattrick goal set off a shower of cowboy hats onto the ice.  I’m sure Glencross will be suggesting more “Western Nights” in the future.
