The Montreal Canadiens literally got as close as you possibly could to scoring a goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets without physically scoring a goal. Brendan Gallagher tipped the puck in front of the net, but Sergei Bobrovsky got his leg back in time and kicked the puck out. It would have tied the game at 1-1 but the puck was about 3 millimeters short of crossing the goal line.
