Bruins defenseman Brad Ference makes an awesome kick save

The Boston Bruins were up 2-1 late in the third period when Buffalo Sabres forward Drew Stafford turned and shot a puck towards a gaping open net.  Bruins goalie Anton Khudobin was caught out of position when defenseman Brad Ference came in to save the day and made a fantastic kick save.  Unfortunately, the Sabres tied the game on the power play with 27 seconds left in the game and then went on to win in a shootout to give the Bruins the 3-2 loss.  Despite this fantastic stop by Ference, the most amazing part of the game took place before the puck even dropped.
