Brent Seabrook takes a slapshot right to the pills

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook is a shot blocking specialist and is always among the league leaders.  Unfortunately for him, when he went out to block Drew Doughty’s shot during their game against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, he took that shot right to nuts.  Don’t let the Doc Emerick and Eddie Olczyk fool you, they kept saying midsection, but they were merely trying to avoid bringing attention to the fact that he got drilled right in the balls.  Seabrook immediately went to the locker room, once he could move again, and fortunately for Chicago he returned later.  Meanwhile, the Blackhawks continued their amazing streak and beat the Los Angeles Kings to improve to 12-0-3.  They have yet to lose in regulation and at the rate they’re going, I could see their streak continuing for a while longer.
