Titans Plan to Release Chris Johnson, Next Stop Dallas?

Tennessee Titans are putting running back Chris Johnson on the open market, according to Adam Schefter. After attempting to trade Johnson, 29, it appears the Titans will release him and his $8 million salary in 2014 (only behind Adrian Peterson for RBs).

Johnson, who rushed for 2006-yards in 2009, has rushed for over 1,000 yards in all six years in the NFL.

Ian Rapoport notes that the Dallas Cowboys could be the front runner to pick up Johnson:
