San Francisco 49ers controversial failed 4th down conversion

With the game on the line on 4th and goal with less than two minutes left, the San Francisco 49ers put the ball in Colin Kaepernick’s hands and it backfired.  The play calling once the 49ers got near the goalline was not very good and it cost them.  The Ravens knew they had to throw the ball and so they made sure to dial up the blitz on 4th down.  Kaepernick had no time to throw and he ended up way over-throwing Michael Crabtree.

49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh was begging for a holding call but never got one.  Crabtree was held up on the play a bit, but I’m still not convinced that Crabtree didn’t push off.  Either way, Jim will take that call to his grave.
