Redskins Sign Former Eagles WR DeSean Jackson

After some persuasion from rapper Wale last night during his visit to D.C., former Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has agreed to a 3-year-deal worth $24 million with the Redskins.

The 27-year-old three time Pro Bowler was released earlier in the week by the Eagles for a number of reasons including work-ethic and alleged gang-related ties. The terms of the agreement are not known yet.

Future teammate DeAngelo Hall was a happy man about Jackson’s signing:

With the addition of Jackson along with Pierre Garcon, Alfred Morris and Robert Griffin III, the Redskins could field a fairly potent offense next season.
