The beginning to the San Francisco 49ers new Levi’s Stadium has not gone very well. During the first preseason game fans complained of the heat and one fan even died, though it is unclear if the heat contributed to his death.
Things have continued to go poorly and the 49ers have started to tear up the sod at the stadium in advance of this Sunday’s game after only one game of use. I can’t imagine what they will do if the field isn’t prepared in time, but I bet the organization is not happy at the moment.
