Les Miles interested in becoming Dallas Cowboys next Head Coach?

A rumor popped up this morning on the boards of 24/7 Sports saying that Les Miles is very interested in becoming the Dallas Cowboys next Head coach, and the interest comes from Miles being the Tight End coach from 1998-2000.

Sure, with current Head Coach Josh Garrett underachieving again it’s always popular to speculate on who will be the next college coach to get the bump up to the NFL, but I don’t think Miles will be it.  I’m not sure he’s cut out for the pro game, and I’m not sure he would want to leave the LSU Tiger team that he has helped maintain an elite level since Nick Saban left.

I’m going to continue to believe this is pure speculation, especially because the account the rumor came from is only two months old.  This rumor will be something to keep an eye on, but I wouldn’t get overly excited or worried if you’re an LSU or Dallas fan.
