Jets Fan struggles to rip and burn his Mark Sanchez jersey

I’m honestly surprised that this fan put this video up on the Internet.  You can tell it’s going to be a struggle right from the start when he videotapes himself using scissors or a knife to cut the jersey first before ripping it.

Then part way through, it becomes obvious that the jersey is made of a stronger material than a t-shirt is and isn’t as easily ripped.  Once he realizes this, he pulls off the jersey and tries to light it on fire.  Only problem is this jersey isn’t flammable, and he is only able to light a tiny corner on fire.  At which point, he calls his efforts a triumph and leaves the frame.

It was probably for the best that the jersey didn’t go up in flames since he was inside, but this video is pretty much a microcosm of the Jets season.  A season full of effort that produces minimal results and eventually everyone gives up.
