Is ‘Griffining’ The New Tebowing? (Photos)

An additional trait of an NFL star besides passing, running, catching or tackling, will be the ability to start a trend setting celebratory routine.

For those who have been in a closet over the last year and don’t know what ‘Tebowing’ is, here’s a refresher.

Robert Griffin III was spectacular for the Washington Redskins in his NFL debut, throwing for 320 yards and two touchdowns against the Saints. Griffin also started his own internet meme yesterday: ‘Griffining’

‘Griffining,’ as seen above, is Griffin raising both index fingers while seated after he connected for a 88-yards with Pierre Garcon.
