Cowboys Sign Former First-Round WR A.J. Jenkins

The Dallas Cowboys announced Tuesday afternoon that they signed free-agent WR A.J. Jenkins to a contract. Jenkins, the former No. 30th pick in the 2012 draft by the 49ers, will compete with Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley and Devin Street during the Cowboys’ OTA’s (Dez Bryant won’t because he has yet to sign his franchise-tender).

Jenkins played the last two seasons with the K.C. Chiefs, registering 17 catches for 223 yards. It may be a long-shot, however, for the 25-year-old to make the team.
