Brian Hoyer and E.J. Manuel both leave TNF game with knee injuries

On a crucial 3rd and 8 in the 3rd quarter, Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel showed off his athleticism and gained the first down on the ground on a nice scramble.  Rather than step out of bounds, Manuel tried to gain an extra few yards and took a shoulder to his knee.  Manuel was down immediately and in pain.  Both the Browns and Bills have lost their starting quarterbacks to injury and now undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel is in the game.

Brian Hoyer also left Thursday’s game after taking a hit in the first quarter by Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso.
