During the Bulls first day of training camp, the first group included Derrick Rose at PG, Jimmy Butler at SG, Mike Dunleavy at SF, Pau Gasol at PF and Joakim Noah at C.
“You can’t overlook Taj,” Thibodeau said via The Chicago Tribune. “Taj was probably our best fourth-quarter player last year. We’re going to finish with the guys who give us the best chance to win. … We have three guys (Noah, Gasol and Gibson) that I know we can finish with. I’m going to ask them all to sacrifice.”
Thibodeau mentioned that he wants to experiment with his lineup, which potentially will feature a ‘jumbo’ front-court with Taj Gibson, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah all on the floor at once.
