Shaq challenges Jason Whitlock to a fight

Former All-Star Center and current NBA analyst Shaquille O’Neal has never been one to lay down during an argument.  And last night he decided to respond to a tweet from Foxsports.com writer Jason Whitlock.

For those that have forgotten, Whitlock is discussing the weight loss competition that O’Neal had with Charles Barkley last year.  Shaq was declared the winner, even though he had his abs painted on.

When they told Shaq about the criticism, he obviously wasn’t just going to accept it and move on.

“Jason Whitlock: I tell you what,” he said. “You can come here and box me any time you want.”

“All muscle right here, baby, trust me,” Shaq said, pointing to his body.

“Jason Whitlock, I’ll use one hand, you use two, I’ll get on my knees! Anytime, anyplace. You don’t know who you’re talking to!” said O’Neal.

After the show came back from commercial, Shaq was shown a picture of a rotund Whitlock laying on the couch.

“That’s him? That’s the pot calling the kettle black!” said Shaq.

Shaq does have a point, the photo that they show of Whitlock makes it seem as though Whitlock outweighs Shaw.  So how did Whitlock respond?

Shaq has never been one to get along with media members, but I’m sure this incident will blow over; it’s not as though Jason Whitlock would actually want to fight Shaq.  Perhaps Whitlock should just challenge Shaq to a weight-loss competition, that seems like a much safer plan of action.
