NBA Commissioner David Stern announces final draft pick, Hakeem Olajuwon shows up

NBA Commissioner David Stern came to the podium to announce his final draft pick ever.  The Phoenix Suns took Nemanja Nedovic and David Stern came out to a standing ovation. Stern announced that Deputy Commissioner Andrew Silver would take over as the new NBA Commissioner and the fans promptly started booing Silver.  Silver then said they had a surprise for Stern and Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon came out.  Olajuwon was dressed in the same style suit he wore when he was drafted in 1984, and he was the first NBA draft pick that David Stern ever announced.  It was a really great series of events and the NBA should be commended for how they planned this.
