It was announced that Team USA won’t be able to wear a Paul George patch during the World Cup but it can during the remaining exhibition games because FIBA won’t allow it. A reporter asked Pacers’ President Larry Bird about whether the team would also wear a patch during its upcoming season with George sidelined. His response is pretty great:
